Template information
The English Electric Canberra entered service with the Royal Air Force in the spring of 1951 and immediately became the most advanced jet bomber in the world. Its revolutionary design focused on high speed and exceptional range, allowing the aircraft to evade enemy fighters without the need to carry defensive armament. Thanks to its excellent aerodynamic properties and reliable Rolls-Royce Avon engines, the machine enjoyed huge export success and served in dozens of air forces.
This exclusive Die-Cast model is a detailed reproduction of the aircraft with serial number WT370, which No. 139 Squadron operated from RAF Nicosia in Cyprus. The model features authentic period camouflage, complete with the iconic invasion stripes of Operation Musketeer in November 1956, when these crews guided the main bombing waves. The elaborate model captures the specific details of the B.6 version, including a working sliding entrance door mechanism.
