The 3D helicopter can also fly upside down. The blades have a symmetrical profile and the collective goes to negative values, so the rotor can pull in both directions — and the model therefore hangs on its back just as well as normally.

It requires a powerful drive and fast servos , because in 3D figures the angle of the blades changes several times per second. And most importantly, it requires hours of flying; 3D is the most demanding discipline of model making ever.
