If you later decide to operate the helicopter with an advanced universal Spektrum transmitter, the receiver in the model features a Smart Transmitter File function, allowing for easy setup in seconds.
This is the first licensed helicopter processed with such detail and authenticity. The lightweight shell includes many details such as clear windows, antennas, and exhausts. The appearance is enhanced by painted blades and LED lighting, which aids in orientation.

RTF Version
This basic Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes an RC helicopter model and a Spektrum DXS transmitter with an excellent DSMX 2.4 GHz transmission protocol. It is a great transmitter for beginners.
Control Unit
The AR6250MHXH control unit features exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE technologies. The SAFE technology includes tilt angle limits and improved self-leveling. AS3X smooths out the effects of wind and turbulence in all modes, making the model much calmer. Additionally, you can use the Panic Recovery function to stabilize the model in case of trouble!
Simulator Included
RealFlight, one of the best RC flight simulators, is included in the Trainer Edition version. The simulator features 8 Horizon Hobby models including helicopters, and after flying for 2 and 4 hours, additional models and options will be unlocked. The package includes a card with a key to download the simulator from Steam. An adapter and USB cable for connecting the transmitter to your PC are also included.
Smart Technology
The electronics in the model with Spektrum Smart technology sends telemetry data to the transmitter. When using the included DXS transmitter, the battery level of the power battery will be displayed using 4 LEDs, and there will also be an audio warning when the battery is low. For complete telemetry, control the model with a Spektrum Generation 2 transmitter with a display (DX G2 or NX, iX series) (sold separately).
SAFE Technology
If this is your first RC helicopter, the exclusive SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology from Horizon Hobby offers several flight modes providing increased control. You can choose a flight mode according to your abilities.
Flight Mode - Normal (SAFE)
In this flight mode, the helicopter has tilt limits to prevent loss of orientation and crashes. When you release or return the control sticks to neutral, the helicopter automatically returns to level flight, making flying much easier. This flight mode also significantly eases takeoff and landing!
Flight Mode - Stunt 1 (AS3X)
In this flight mode, there are no tilt limits, allowing for complete control! The head speed is higher than in normal mode, enabling you to fly inverted and perform basic acrobatic maneuvers.
Flight Mode - Stunt 2 (AS3X)
In this flight mode, there are no restrictions and the head speed is even higher, allowing you to perform more aggressive and 3D acrobatic maneuvers.
Panic Function
If you lose control of the helicopter in Stunt/Idle Up flight modes, simply press and hold the Panic Recovery button, and the model will level itself. Alternatively, switch to normal mode and release the control sticks. If the model is at a sufficient height, SAFE technology will take care of it safely.
Durability and Precision
Increased durability and precision of the helicopter are ensured by digital servos with metal gears, a redesigned frame design, improved rotor head geometry, an aluminum cyclic plate, and rotor head block.
Collective Pitch Control
The flybarless mechanics with collective pitch controlled by three servos provides full and precise control allowing for advanced aerobatics that would not be possible with fixed pitch.

Authentic Scale and Construction
The powerful and efficient brushless main motor uses a two-stage gearbox that fits into the scale body of the model. The main rotor spins counterclockwise, just like the real helicopter. Both motors are connected to the Spektrum Dual Smart controller and are compatible with popular and affordable 3S 850 mAh Smart LiPo batteries with IC2 connectors.
