Plastic models are intended primarily for those who have patience and a certain amount of dexterity. Assembling a plastic model requires time, concentration and also several important tools – scissors (pincers), glue, paints, thinner, a modeling knife or a set of scalpels, files, sandpaper (grit 1000 – 2000), putty, brushes...
For the successful assembly of a plastic model, not only the equipment described above is needed, but also compliance with the correct procedures. First, you need to separate the individual parts from the frames using scissors or pliers. All parts of the plastic models are numbered, so it is important to carefully follow the enclosed instructions when assembling them. When gluing individual parts, you should only use glues intended for gluing plastic models (secondary, solvent). It is a good idea to paint small parts before separating them from the frame. The stickers must first be cut out, soaked in warm water for about 20 seconds and placed on the moistened spot on the plastic model. After settling, just suck up the remaining water with absorbent paper.
