Template information

The German single-engine transport aircraft Junkers F.13 first flew on June 25, 1919. It was a machine with a very advanced design, and in addition it was the first transport aircraft of all-metal construction. In the area of safety, passengers were also remembered, so their seats were equipped with seat belts. Production of the Junkers F.13 continued until 1932. A total of 322 aircraft of various versions were built.

The machine was revolutionary in its time, mainly due to the use of corrugated duralumin sheet metal, which provided the aircraft with extraordinary structural strength while maintaining low weight. The Junkers F.13 served with many airlines around the world and became a symbol of reliable transport in the interwar period. Thanks to its durability and ability to operate from unpaved surfaces, these machines were used even in extreme climatic conditions.
