ICM 72913 - 1:72 M3 Bradley US Cavalry Fighting Vehicle
Plastic construction kit for gluing together produced by ICM.
Template information
The M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle entered service with the U.S. Army in 1981. It was developed as part of a long-term program called the Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle, which aimed to create a durable and highly maneuverable armored vehicle for the U.S. Army's mechanized units. The vehicle is named after Omar Bradley, a legendary American general from World War II.
The main armament consists of a 25 mm M242 automatic cannon, capable of penetrating 66 mm of homogeneous steel armor. To attack heavy armored vehicles, a dual launcher system for BGM-71 TOW missiles is located on the left side of the turret. Over time, the M2 Bradley has undergone various modifications and improvements that have significantly increased its combat capabilities.
The M3 Bradley CFV is very similar to the M2 Bradley IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle). It is armed with the same 25mm Bushmaster cannons with a coaxial 7.62mm M240C machine gun. It differs only slightly from the M2 Bradley. The M3 Bradley is classified as an armored reconnaissance vehicle. It has the same armament as the M2 series. The M3 has more BGM-71 TOW missiles and also more ammunition for the 25mm and 7.62mm armament.
