A plastic part that can be used to represent temporary takeoff and landing areas built by the Americans during and shortly after World War II.
Information about the template
Pressed steel mats for the rapid construction of temporary runways were widely used during World War II. They enabled the construction of landing and take-off areas for fighter and bomber aircraft.
Each piece of these mats featured a trapezoidal profile with perforations for efficient rainwater drainage. The US Army Engineers were responsible for their installation, maintenance and flawless function.
