In 1981, the German car manufacturer from Stuttgart introduced an elegant two-door hardtop coupe, which was distinguished by its sleek body lines and timeless design. The more than 1.6-ton coupe was powered by a 5-liter V8 engine with 231 horsepower, which could propel the coupe to speeds of up to 225 km/h. The MB 500 SEC was characterized by high performance, unprecedented luxury and reliability.
