Zvezda - 1:350 Spanish galleon ″San Martin″ - 6502

Galleon was commercial or naval sailing ship that was used in the 16th to 18 century. The design was based on Karak.
Galleon was 40-70 meters long and its width reached 1/3 length. It was large and heavy vessel with high sides and a large carrying capacity. Capacity was up to 1,200 tons. Unlike Karak had galleon stern blunt ending to a so-called mirror. The bow of the lower deck and superstructure novelty was long and strong kloun (Galion). Hence the name galleon.
