Plastic kit of the German WWII tracked tractor Ost RSO/03.
Template information
The Steyr RSO/01 is a German World War II tracked truck, developed in response to the needs of German troops fighting on the Eastern Front. The first units of this vehicle were built in 1942 and mass production began shortly thereafter, resulting in approximately 23,000 vehicles.
In order to speed up development, the RSO was based on proven components from the Steyr 1500 truck and many elements from German half-track transporters. The vehicle had good off-road capabilities, but its top speed was limited to just 30 km/h.
