Plastic kit of the prototype of the M727 mobile medium-range anti-aircraft missile system.
Template information
The prototype of the M727 mobile medium-range anti-aircraft missile system was developed during the Cold War, but it never entered mass production. Its development and production were carried out by entities that are part of the defense concern BAE Systems. In order to shorten the development work as much as possible, the chassis of the already existing M548 tracked vehicle was used. The M727 was armed with a triple MIM-23 Hawk missile launcher. Work on this promising project began in 1971.
