The first prototype of the aircraft under the designation Douglas Model 7B took off on October 26, 1938. Douglas DB-7/A-20 Boston aircraft were used not only by the USA, but also by many other countries , which include Great Britain, France and the Soviet Union. The type found wide application, the machines fulfilled the role of fighter, night fighter, battle and reconnaissance aircraft.
