Template information
The Alvis Stalwart is one of the most important vehicles ever to appear in British military service. It was an amphibious 6x6 truck designed to supply army units with fuel, ammunition and other necessary materials. The Stalwart, which entered service in 1966, lived up to its name and, thanks to its impressive off-road performance, earned a reputation as a vehicle that could go almost anywhere. On paved roads, the Stalwart reached a maximum speed of up to 64 km/h, while on water it could move at a speed of about 16 km/h. Production of the Stalwart took place between 1959 and 1971.
