Plastic kit of the British World War I fighter plane Sopwith Pup.
Template information
The Pup, one of the classic British fighter aircraft of the Great War, was originally called the Sopwith Scout. However, because it was significantly smaller than its predecessor, the Sopwith 1½ Strutter, pilots almost immediately began calling it the “Pup.”
The Pup entered combat service in late 1916 and was an excellent fighter aircraft that possessed incredible maneuverability and enabled the Allies to gain dominance over the Luftstreitkräfte during a period of fierce competition.
