SSB Abraham Lincoln was an American George Washington-class nuclear-powered guided missile submarine. She was the second ship of the United States Navy to be named after the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. The submarine was launched on 14 May 1960 and commissioned on 8 March 1961. After commissioning, she conducted deterrence patrol missions during the Cold War. The submarine served until 1981, when it was decommissioned and scrapped.
