The Boeing 737 is a narrow-body, twin-engine jet airliner for short and medium-haul flights. It is the most widely used airliner in the world. The Boeing 737-800 is a lengthened version of the Boeing 737-700, which is derived from the Boeing 737-400 model, and is its direct replacement.
With a standard seating arrangement, it can accommodate 162 passengers. The maximum capacity of the aircraft is 189 passengers. The Boeing 737-800 has a range of 3,815 km, and in the case of the 800HGW version even 5,445 km. More than 9,300 machines of various versions were produced.
