The proven TRX-4 chassis in the High Trail edition is factory-equipped with a higher lift kit, which adds an additional 2.5 cm of ground clearance. This allows the model to be fitted with larger 2.2" wheels. This gives the model a more aggressive stance, greater stability and the ability to overcome more challenging off-road obstacles.
The Sport model's body is equipped with a variety of model elements, such as a front grille with lights, snorkel, mirrors, fender flares and, last but not least, a rear rack with accessories for expedition driving.
A clipless body mounting system is used for quick and easy battery replacement. The body simply snaps into the wheel arches. It is completed by large wheels with a colorful beadlock ring that contrasts with the body design.
The model uses the top-of-the-line TRX-4 chassis with portal axles, a single-speed transmission, and locked differentials. A front bumper with winch preparation is included as standard.
In addition to the functional reel, the model can be further equipped with multifunctional lighting and a wide range of accessory parts (reel, lighting and tuning parts are sold separately).

Higher ground clearance
The factory-installed Long Arm Lift Kit increases ground clearance by 2.5 cm. This allows for the use of larger wheels with Canyon Trail tires. With this equipment, the RC model will be unbeatable off-road.
Stapleless bodywork
The new body mounting system using hooks in the wheel arches ensures quick and easy battery replacement. To remove the body, simply press the hook and pull the body upwards. Installing the body is even easier.
Detailed bodywork
The model is equipped with a detailed body with an expedition rear rack that contains mock-ups of a fire extinguisher, canisters, shovel, axe and two traction plates.
TRX-4 chassis
The chassis is made of two steel profiles, which ensure sufficient rigidity of the chassis. Thanks to the engine, which is located in the front, sufficient load is ensured on the front wheels, so the model can easily handle driving even on steep slopes. The battery is located in the chassis axis.
Axles
The TRX-4 chassis uses portal axles with an axle gearbox. The axle gearbox increases ground clearance, reduces stress on the gearbox, cardan shafts, and further reduces torsional force - the model tilts less.
Transmission
The TRX-4 is equipped with a single-speed transmission. The gear ratio corresponds to the second gear on the TRX-4 with a two-speed transmission. The compact transmission includes a dual-friction clutch for added protection of the drivetrain.
Differentials
This lightweight model's permanently locked differentials always transfer maximum power to all wheels without slipping, allowing you to traverse even the toughest terrain.
GTS oil shock absorbers
The four oil-filled GTS shock absorbers are longer and provide even smoother damping and perfect handling. The aluminum shock absorber bodies are equipped with a nut for adjusting the spring preload. Special X-ring seals ensure maximum tightness of the shock absorber around the piston rod.
Wheels 2.2"
Large Canyon Trail tires made of extra soft S1 compound are glued to 2.2" diameter wheels with a colorful designer Beadlock ring. The wheel carrier is 12mm.
Power steering
The model is controlled by a waterproof Traxxas 2075X High-Torque digital servo with a torque of 9 kg/cm. The servo is equipped with two ball bearings on the milled shaft and metal gears for maximum durability.
Titan 21T engine
The model is powered by a Titan 21T 550 DC motor, which provides smooth operation even from low speeds. For better cooling, the motor has an integrated fan blowing air to the rotor.
DC speed controller
The heart of the Traxxas model is the XL-5 HV DC electronic controller. The controller is designed to be powered by a 2-cell or 3-cell LiPo battery. The model can also be powered by 6-7 cell NiMH batteries.

The Traxxas XL-5 HV controller supports 5 driving modes:
- Sport : Forward, brake and reverse.
- Race : Forward and brake, reverse is not available.
- Training : Forward limited to 50% power, brake 100% and reverse limited to 50%
- Trail : Forward, brake, reverse, control near neutral is very smooth.
- Crawl : Drive forward, brake in neutral, and straight into reverse.
TQ receiver
The Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz three-channel receiver ensures safe, drop-free control. Easy one-button pairing. Status indication via LED.
Traxxas TQ RC kit
The model is controlled by a Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz dual-channel proportional steering transmitter. The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA cells (pencil batteries).
There is a rotary knob on the transmitter that trims the steering. This function ensures that the model drives straight when the steering wheel is in the center position. The battery status in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. The transmitter can be set to reverse on the throttle and steering channels.

Package contents
The package contains a fully assembled RC model of the Traxxas TRX-4 car with a Sport body and installed components: Titan 21T 550 DC motor, Traxxas XL-5 HV speed controller, Traxxas 2075X servo steering, Traxxas TQ three-channel receiver. The package also includes a TQ 2.4GHz two-channel transmitter, a tool kit (1.5 mm Allen key, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, cross key), detailed instructions for use in CZ and manuals in EN, DE, FR, SP.
Must be purchased
To operate the model, you will need 4 AA batteries (pencil batteries) to power the transmitter, a drive battery, and a drive battery charger.
The model can be operated on a 2–3S LiPo battery, which must be equipped with a Traxxas iD power connector. For normal driving, a 2S LiPo battery is fully sufficient, for operation with a higher speed range, a 3S LiPo battery can be used. The recommended battery capacity is 5000–7600 mAh and a current rating of at least 25C.
If you decide to operate the model in conjunction with NiMH batteries, you can use an 8.4V battery with a capacity of 3000–5000 mAh equipped with a Traxxas iD power connector. The advantage of NiMH batteries is lower maintenance requirements.
Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of the RC car, you need tire glue, silicone oil for shock absorbers, and a set of Allen screwdrivers.
Tire glue is used to glue the bead of the tire to the rim. It is always necessary to glue the tire firmly around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and the glued joint remains flexible even after hardening. Do not use ordinary superglue - it is not flexible after hardening, and cracks will gradually form around the rim on the tire.
Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into metal materials (e.g. screws in a motor or a worm in a pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers. During normal operation, only slight silicone oil leaks occur along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leak can be large. So-called repair kits are available for these cases. The tuning parts offer includes piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating for all shock absorbers.
