RC car model Slash 2WD VX3 with a mock-up appearance of Short Course racing cars and a low center of gravity, built for the fastest stable ride and precise control in light and medium terrain. The new Slash is improved, but also completely modernized for an even higher level of performance, durability and user comfort. Thanks to the new AC drive with 2-3S LiPo power supply, the model reaches speeds of up to 80 km/h . It can even handle this speed with the factory pinion, which is an increase of approximately 25% compared to the previous drive. The drive components have improved cooling and the controller includes integrated telemetry. The TSM electronic ride stabilization contributes to excellent controllability. With 2WD rear-wheel drive, the model is lighter, has a simpler design, easier service and a great price. For high durability, the model is factory-equipped with Extreme Heavy Duty components.
The model has a carefully tuned chassis with independent suspension, thanks to which it can easily cope with various surfaces. The engine with gearbox and rear differential is mounted behind the rear axle for maximum traction. New composite GTR shock absorbers improve handling and make adjustment easier. Durable bumpers protect the model in the event of an impact and give you an authentic racing model look. The chassis has a low center of gravity for greater stability. A new clipless body system with beaks in the wheel arches allows easy access to the model and battery replacement.
For children and beginners, it is advisable to initially operate the model with a 2S LiPo battery, which reduces the maximum speed to 56 km/h. The controller also offers three driving modes, including Training mode, in which the power is limited to 50%. This makes the Slash a versatile model that you can initially use with lower power and gradually increase it as your driving experience grows. The control is provided by the new TQi Sport 2.4 GHz RC kit. Of course, there is also a wide range of tuning and complete spare parts.

New VX3 drive
The new VX3 brushless motor can convert the energy of a 3S LiPo battery into extreme speed. The VX3 speed controller has modern electronics, active fan cooling, easy one-button setup and telemetry support. The powerful Velineon V3200 motor is the ideal combination of high speed, power and efficiency. The integrated cooling effectively keeps the motor temperature low even during demanding driving.
New GTR shock absorbers
The new GTR composite shocks absorb impacts and ensure maximum wheel-to-surface contact. They hold over 70% more oil than standard Ultra Shocks, are X-ring sealed, and spring preload can be conveniently adjusted with a nut on the shock body.
Durable servo
The Slash is equipped with a new powerful metal gear servo. Combined with a redesigned Bellcrank steering system with integrated servo saver, it ensures high durability, precise steering response and long life.
Stapleless bodywork
The unique body mounting system using lugs in the wheel arches allows for quick and easy replacement. Robust latches hold the body firmly in place no matter how rough the ride. The body has an aerodynamic shape that increases stability at high speeds.
Low center of gravity chassis
The low-center-of-gravity chassis places the battery and electronics as low as possible, increasing stability and cornering speed. The chassis is flat and smooth underneath to prevent the model from wobbling and to prevent it from sliding off the ground if it lands on its belly.

The factory-installed kit adds durability to exposed parts of the model. Each piece is made from the most durable materials Traxxas uses. Whether you're driving through rough terrain or jumping over jumps, this kit is built to last.
Model construction
Durable chassis with low center of gravity
The chassis of the model is made of a durable chassis made of fiber-filled nylon. This makes the chassis light and stiff. The battery is mounted in the center axis for ideal weight distribution. The low center of gravity allows stability in corners even at high speeds.
Long wheelbase
The long wheelbase of 33 cm ensures excellent directional stability at high speeds. The model is calmer when driving over bumps, handles jumps better and provides more confident control.
High-tech look
The new dark gray composite with a carbon fiber look gives the chassis a unique high-tech look that matches the legendary performance of Slash RC models.
Precise proportional control
The front wheel steering mechanism is implemented via a Dual-Bell-Crank system, which ensures precise operation of the linkages to the wheels and reduces the bump steering effect. Ball bearings are used on the pivots for smooth operation.
Battery bed
The innovative battery cradle securely holds the battery in place with a flip-up latch, making battery replacement a matter of seconds and eliminating the need to loosen clips or straps.
Adjustable rods
Adjustable suspension links allow for individual tuning of the suspension geometry and thus changing the driving characteristics for specific conditions. The model thus offers amazing variability!
Durable suspension components
The suspension components are reinforced with more material and have a stronger construction.
Silencer towers
Robust shock towers minimize flex and provide fixed points for body mounts. Reducing flex allows the suspension to absorb bumps.
Suspension arms
The suspension arms maintain proper geometry throughout the entire range of motion. Made from Traxxas' toughest composite material, they provide just the right amount of flex and durability, even in cold weather.
Arm pin connector
The steel arm pivot connector increases strength and keeps the suspension in perfect alignment even in the event of bumps and hard impacts.
Model bumpers
Solid bumpers protect the model in the event of impacts. The mock-up appearance corresponds to the real tubular bumpers on cars in Short Course races.
Waterproof* construction
The model features a number of patented solutions that reduce the risk of water ingress, such as a sealed servo box or encapsulated controller electronics. This gives you the freedom to go for a ride regardless of the weather.
2WD drivetrain
Magnum 272 gearbox
Rear-wheel drive is provided by the proven Magnum 272 gearbox, which, together with the engine, is located behind the rear axle, ensuring maximum rear-wheel load and high traction. The gearbox includes a friction clutch and planetary differential.
Friction clutch
The Revo Spec Torque Control friction clutch ensures smooth power transfer and is adjustable. The correctly set slip ratio protects the drivetrain without reducing the model's acceleration.
Rear differential
The composite planetary differential features a steel ring gear and hardened steel internal gears for maximum driving strength. This type of differential requires virtually no maintenance and its efficient design reliably distributes torque between the rear wheels.
Robust gear teeth
Both the pinion and spur gear use a robust 32DP gear module for reliable power transmission from the AC motor. It is 1.5 times larger than the conventional gear module (48 DP).
Drive shafts
The drive shafts are reinforced in critical areas for high engine performance. The output shafts exit into hexagonal wheel carriers.
Ball bearings
Large ball bearings are used throughout the drive system for smooth operation. The bearings are covered with a plastic cover to keep dirt out. This extends the life of the model and simplifies maintenance.
Body and wheels
Stapleless bodywork
Replacing the battery is now very easy thanks to the clip-free body attachment using the claws in the wheel arches. To remove, simply press the claws and slide the body upwards. Installing it is even easier – you lay the body down, push from above and the body snaps into place.
Side reinforcements
Robust side NERF reinforcements protect the chassis in side impacts.
Realistic SCT wheels
Replica BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires provide excellent off-road grip and precise traction on firm surfaces. The foam-padded tires are mounted on 2.2" double-spoke rims.
Electronics
Power steering
The model is controlled by a Traxxas 2057 digital servo. The servo is equipped with two ball bearings on the milled shaft and metal gears for maximum durability. The servo design is waterproof*.
V3200 brushless motor
The model is powered by a powerful Velineon V3200 brushless motor. The newly designed motor features intake ports and an internal cooling fan on the shaft that drives air through the center of the motor, reducing temperature and maintaining consistent performance. Additionally, the metal housing dissipates additional heat from the motor.

Electronic controller VX3
The waterproof VX3 electronic brushless controller features advanced electronics and the ability to power 2-3S LiPo (NiMH batteries are not supported). It retains the simplicity of EZ-Set® one-button programming and three riding modes, including Training Mode. For a more natural feel, braking is more linear with greater motion resolution. The controller supports telemetry. A large aluminum heat sink dissipates heat. The electronics are waterproof*.
VX3 controller modes
- Sport : The default mode is forward driving, braking and reverse driving possible.
- Race : A mode suitable for racing. Forward and braking are possible; reverse is not available.
- Training : A mode suitable for children or novice riders. Forward travel is possible with a power limit of 50%, braking and reverse travel with a power limit of 50%.
TQi Sport receiver
The Traxxas TQi Sport 2.4 GHz three-channel receiver ensures safe control without interruptions. Pairing is easy with one button. Status is indicated by an LED. The receiver has integrated 3-axis MEMS sensors for position and movement sensing.
Traxxas TQi Sport Transmitter
The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional steering wheel transmitter Traxxas TQi Sport, operating in the 2.4 GHz band - without interference. The transmitter is powered by only 4x AA batteries.
There is a rotary knob on the transmitter to trim the steering (so that the model drives straight when the steering wheel is in the center position). The battery status in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. With one button, you can set channel reverse, endpoints, TSM on/off. Also included is:

Traxxas Stability Management
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) not only allows you to experience power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but also ensures much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.
The receiver contains a MEMS 3-axis gyro and accelerometer, which evaluate the model's movement at a rate of 100 times per second and corrects the direction of travel by appropriate interventions in the front wheel steering. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power - you have 100% control over engine power. The algorithms are tuned for each model separately. TSM can be turned on or off via the TQi Sport transmitter.
