This version of the kit comes standard with the premium Extreme Heavy Duty suspension and drivetrain, made from the most durable fiberglass-filled composite materials Traxxas uses in its heaviest models.
Another revolutionary feature is the innovative clip-free body mounting system. The body simply snaps into special integrated holders in the wheel arches. This system ensures a clean mock-up look without distracting clips, strengthens the entire structure and allows for a lightning-fast battery change.
The body is supplied in a clear finish, giving modelers absolute freedom to create their own unique design and paint using special paints for Lexan.
Proven mechanical components and waterproof electronics
The uncompromising power transfer to the 2WD rear axle is ensured by the encapsulated Magnum 272 transmission with hardened steel gears and an adjustable Torque-Control disc friction clutch, which effectively protects the drivetrain from hard impacts.
The long wheelbase, high ground clearance and oil-filled Ultra Shocks shock absorbers with progressive springs guarantee excellent stability and perfect passability even over the most demanding terrain.
The complete Traxxas onboard electronics feature official waterproof specifications. At the heart of the drive is a modified Titan 12T 550 series DC motor with integrated cooling fan and XL-5 ESC, which offers three driving profiles, including a learning mode with a 50% power limit for children and beginners.

For the Slash 2WD chassis, it is necessary to choose exclusively flat designs (Flat pack), e.g.:
