Plastic kit of the American World War II fighter aircraft Curtiss P-40E Warhawk. Profipack edition in 1:48 scale.
Template information
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk (known as the Kittyhawk in the UK) was an American single-engine, single-seat, all-metal fighter and attack aircraft that first flew in 1938. The P-40's design was based on the Curtiss P-36 Hawk. The time saved in development allowed for rapid production and entry into service.
The Warhawk was used by most Allied forces during World War II and remained in the front line until the end of the war. It was the third most produced American fighter after the P-51 and P-47. By November 1944, when production of the P-40 was discontinued, 13,738 aircraft had been built.
