The Arrma Quake RC car is a pure monster truck – big, aggressive with huge wheels and high ground clearance, enabling it to overcome anything. You can drive it aggressively off-road and on asphalt, jump, and overcome obstacles. The model is built on a new 4S Next Gen platform in scale 1:8. The chassis is designed for maximum durability and simplicity. The model is equipped with a 4x4 drive for excellent driving performance. A powerful brushless motor and Spektrum Smart speed controller allow for a driving speed of up to 80 km/h. For easier control even at high speeds, the model features electronic stability control DSC.
The essence of a real monster truck is a chassis designed for wild rides. A higher center of gravity allows for leaning in corners. The elevated chassis offers greater ground clearance for driving in challenging terrain. Integrated wheelie wheels allow for effective rear-wheel rides. The tires with distinctive directional tread grip onto dirt, grass, and gravel, ensuring necessary traction. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 4WD system with three differentials. The deep tub chassis made of composite material protects the electronics. Oil-filled aluminum shock absorbers effectively absorb impacts during jumps and landings. The rear arms are equipped with guards against flying pebbles. A spacious battery compartment, a new top securing battery tray, neatly routed wiring, and a connector holder ensure quick and convenient battery replacement. A quick-release, clipless body also contributes to this.
The Quake 4S model includes a special electronic stability control function DSC, which automatically performs steering corrections for smooth drifting, easier controlling at higher speeds, and on less grippy terrains. The DSC stabilization includes 4 modes depending on the level of assistance, including an option to turn it off.
The model is equipped with quality Spektrum electronics. For effective cooling, both the motor and controller are equipped with fans. The equipment includes a three-channel transmitter Spektrum SLT3 2.4 GHz with adjustable motor power limit. Beginners can gradually gain confidence and utilize the model's full potential as their skills improve. The waterproof digital servo S662 features metal gears and an aluminum steering arm with 25 teeth. It is protected from impacts by a servo-saver. To operate, a 3S or 4S LiPo battery is required.
The chassis with a high center of gravity is tuned to behave like its real-life counterpart. Expect massive lean angles in corners, lifting the front wheels on the rear during hard acceleration, and jumps that look as great as it performs.
The extremely tough composite plastic tub-shaped chassis, interlinked shock tower, massive front bumper, and shock-absorbing braces are designed to withstand even the hardest impacts.
A low component count chassis means fewer parts to take apart, lower risk of losing anything, and most importantly, less time spent on servicing between runs.
An exclusive feature is the dynamic driving stabilization included in the Spektrum control unit. It makes steering corrections for easier control using integrated sensors. The intensity of stabilization can be comfortably adjusted through the transmitter in four modes.
Power from the brushless motor is transmitted to the center differential and then to the axle differentials. This ensures an optimal slip ratio and traction for excellent driving properties. Metal gears are used for certain power transfer.
The drive system is sealed to minimize dirt intrusion. The use of ball bearings guarantees smooth power transfer across all rotating parts.
For brutal riding over obstacles, the model is equipped with quality aluminum shocks filled with oil to prevent oscillation on rough terrain. The shocks feature threads with nuts for easy spring preload adjustment.
A spacious battery tray, a securing top partition with a ratchet mechanism, and a securely mounted controller connector ensure that battery installation and replacement are a matter of moments.
No visible clips, no annoying alignment on the body posts. The hidden clipless mounting system holds the body firmly in place, maintains a clean, uninterrupted look, and the internal protective frame adds extreme strength to the car.
Step on the gas and enjoy an impressive rear wheel ride thanks to the rear wheelie bar with wheels.
Model control is provided by the modern SPEKTRUM™ FIRMA™ 150A V2 SMART controller with a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller, capable of reading complete telemetry and transferring it to the receiver via an integral lead in the new IC5 connector. Data is transmitted via the SRXL2 protocol. The controller directly reads information about type, temperature, and voltage of battery cells from a Smart battery. Real-time current, temperature, total battery voltage, voltage of individual battery cells, battery temperature, remaining capacity, and motor RPM are available. (Compatible receiver and transmitter are required to display telemetry.)
The electronics are completely sealed and protected against moisture and dirt ingress. The controller is powered on and configured using a button located under a rubber cover.
Upgraded firmware V2 ensures more robust performance and improved driving feel.
The 3-channel SLR300 car receiver is equipped with SLT FHSS 2.4 GHz technology, resistant to interference. It is compatible with Spektrum SLT transmitters and features DSC stabilization.
