Since the brushless drive is designed for 2S–3S LiPo batteries, you can start with a 2S LiPo battery, which will give you a top speed of around 56 km/h. As your driving skills improve, you can also add a 3S LiPo battery to the model and drive at speeds of up to 80 km/h.
The control unit includes the electronic DSC stability control, which automatically makes steering corrections for smooth driving in skids and easier steering at higher speeds or on less grippy surfaces. DSC stabilization offers 4 modes including the option to turn it off. Another function is the possibility of electronically limiting the maximum power to 75% or 50% of the maximum, making the model suitable even for complete beginners.
Arrma Quake has a classic design, high ground clearance and large wheels, so you can drive practically anywhere. The car is unbeatable especially when driving in difficult terrain and when driving over large bumps. The composite chassis can withstand even hard impacts. The metal gears used are durable enough for AC drive.
Maximum traction is provided by proven dBoots Cut Chevron MT tires with a typical arrow tread pattern. The Spektrum SLT transmitter provides safe operation without signal drops. The model is also equipped with waterproof components - a Spektrum 2-in-1 45A ESC with receiver and a Spektrum S681 steering servo.

Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz Transmitter
The Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz 2-channel transmitter fits perfectly in your hand. It can help you learn to control your model safely by limiting the maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you are ready for full power.
Battery compartment
The battery compartment is located on the underside of the chassis and allows for very quick replacement without having to remove the bodywork.
Adjustable suspension
Independent suspension and oil-filled shock absorbers absorb bumps smoothly. If your ride takes you into rougher terrain, you can increase ground clearance with spring pads.

The package contains an assembled 1:10 scale Arrma Quake 223S BLX 2WD RC car model with installed components: Spektrum Firma 4000kV brushless motor, Spektrum SLT 2-in-1 45A DSC control unit and Spektrum S681 MG servo.
The package also includes a Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter, 4 AA batteries for the transmitter, a 1.5 mm Allen key, Allen screwdrivers (2 mm and 2.5 mm), a multi-function wrench, washers for the shock absorbers, a CZ manual and an EN, DE, FR manual.
Must be purchased
To operate the model, you will need a 2S–3S LiPo battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh equipped with an EC5/IC5 power connector and a suitable charger.
Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of the RC car, you need tire glue and silicone oil for the shock absorbers, and a set of Allen screwdrivers.
Tire glue is used to glue tires to the rim of the wheel. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon and at the same time the glue is flexible after hardening. Do not use ordinary superglue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks will gradually form in the tire around the rims!
It is also necessary to use special screw glue to secure detachable joints in metal materials (e.g. screws in the motor, worm in the pinion, etc.).
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, only slight silicone oil leaks occur along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or seals is unsatisfactory, the oil leak can be large. For these cases, so-called repair kits are supplied.
