Plastic kit of the American World War II M36 tank destroyer.
Template information
The M36 Jackson tank destroyer was developed in the USA based on the requirements of the US Army for a fast machine that could destroy even the most modern and heaviest German armored vehicles. The first machines reached the troops in 1944, they participated mainly in the fighting in Europe. Their official designation was M36 GMC (Gun Motor Carriage), they were called Slugger (baseball hitter) or Jackson. By the end of the spring of 1945, the turrets of the M36 Slugger tank destroyers were equipped with a folding set of additional roof armor, which protected their crews against snipers. American tank destroyers were used even after World War II.
