Product Description

RadioLink - T12D transmitter with R12F receiver - 1RL0140

The T12D is a twelve-channel computer transmitter for recreational modelers that allows you to set basic functions such as the size and direction of deflections, and also has a variety of mixes for controlling a wide range of models - motorized aerobatic models, gliders, multicopters, cars and other ground equipment, as well as ships. It can work with an internal RF part with an FHSS transmission system (the same as the T8FB/T8S or the RadioLink R4GS/R6GS/R8X pistol transmitters), but also allows the connection of external long-range ELRS or TBS Crossfire RF modules. It is characterized by a practical case that fits perfectly in the hand with a classic, time-tested ergonomic layout of the controls.

Controls: The main functions are controlled by precise cross controllers with adjustable neutralization spring force and the ability to move the locked throttle axis to the left or right. Thanks to this, you can freely select the operating modes of the cross controllers 1–4. The digital trims have audible step and center position signals. They are located slightly eccentrically and are easy to reach. Additional channels can be controlled by two rotary knobs on the front panel and two rotary controls with neutralization on the back of the transmitter; four switches (three three-position and one two-position) can serve as channel switches or for turning program functions on/off. For easy programming, a pair of buttons and a programming wheel/button and a color LCD display with a diagonal of 2.8 inches and a resolution of 320×240 pixels are used. The transmitter uses the freeRTOS operating system.

Transmitter power supply: The T12D allows you to use a variety of different sources for power supply: 8 alkaline batteries or NIMH batteries inserted into the holder supplied with the transmitter, NiMH battery packs with 8 cells (size AA, AA) or two to four cell LiPo, Li-ion sets. Power supply from a power bank via the USB-C port is also possible.

Transmission system: The T12D uses FHSS frequency hopping transmission, ensuring long range, reliability and immunity to interference. For the internal RF part, it is possible to select three FHSS transmission protocols with different transmission speeds (14 ms for analog servos, 4 ms/3 ms for digital servos) depending on the type of RadioLink receiver and servo used. When using a telemetry receiver, it allows the transmission of telemetry from the receiver and also telemetry from the connected RadioLink flight controller, if you use one. For work with external modules, bidirectional ELRS and CRSF V2 protocols are available.

Software: T12D offers programs for eight types of models - classic aircraft, gliders/deltas, multicopters, helicopters, cars, boats, tracked vehicles/tanks and robots, while offering the possibility of cooperation with RadioLink control units for aircraft, drones, vehicles or, for example, a fishing boat, including the relevant telemetry.

  • Memory for 50 models with the ability to copy and rename models
  • System settings (display brightness, contrast and backlight, menu language, etc.)
  • Selectable D-pad mode 1–4
  • Servo monitor
  • Reversal of the sense of deviations
  • Setting the size (endpoints) of deflections
  • Servo speed
  • Free assignment of functions and controls for channels 5–12
  • 8 freely programmable mixes with selectable waveforms: linear, exponential, polyline, 9-point curve
  • Switchable control unit mode (up to 17 modes)
  • 3 flight modes
  • Dual deflections and selectable deflection curve (exponential, broken curve, 9-point curve) for channels 1, 2 and 4
  • Throttle curve (up to 9 points)
  • Throttle preselection (engine shutdown for aircraft, autorotation for helicopters)
  • Mix for butterfly tail surfaces
  • Mix for gliders/deltas
  • Gyro gain remote control mix (for RadioLink receivers with built-in gyro)
  • Helicopter collective curve
  • Helicopter mixes (swashplate)
  • Mix for tracked vehicles
  • Feeder control (only with R16F receiver and RadioLink control unit with GPS) allowing setting of the sailing route in up to 100 points
  • Auxiliary ID: Allows you to control multiple models with receivers paired to a transmitter without switching model memories (e.g. you can drive out with a tractor-trailer with a loaded excavator; once you arrive at the job site, flip the switch to activate the auxiliary ID and the transmitter will now control the excavator)
  • 2 timers
  • Switch assignments
  • USB-C port for updating transmitter firmware or controlling RC simulator on PC (from version V1.7.1)
  • Teacher-student socket for wired connection of 2 RadioLink transmitters

Compatible receivers: RadioLink R12F, R16F, R8FM, R8SM, R8XM, R8FGH, R8FG, R7FG, R6FG, R6F, R6FGM, R4F.
The R12F receiver included in the kit allows you to select several channel output modes (12 PWM outputs for classic servos, 11xPWM + S.BUS, 9xPWM+S.BUS+RX/TX CRSF, 10xPWM + RX/TX CRSF) with combinations of PWM outputs for classic servos, S.BUS serial output and input/output for CRSF. You can easily connect classic servos, S.BUS servos and other devices, control units, etc. to it.

Telemetry:

  • When using the internal FHSS RF part and Radiolink telemetry receivers, information about the receiver's supply voltage and RSSI signal strength is available; with the R16F receiver, it is also possible to measure and display the voltage of, for example, a drive battery up to 6S LiPo on the transmitter. You can also set threshold levels for warning signals of weak signal or low voltage. When using the Radiolink control unit, telemetry data from this unit can be displayed.
  • When using an external RF module with CRSF protocol and the appropriate receiver, telemetry from this receiver can be displayed.

The T12D RC kit includes:

  • T12D transmitter
  • R12F receiver (without telemetry)
  • USB-C cable
  • Cross-controller link and neutralization spring
  • Operating instructions
