Plastic kit of the American fighter jet Boeing F-15C Eagle.
Template information
The Boeing F-15 is arguably the most powerful air superiority fighter aircraft found in the hangars of the United States Air Force today. It can reach a top speed of Mach 2.5, even at high altitudes.
The E variant was developed in 1984 as a further development phase following the F-15D. This two-seat version is used both in air-to-ground operations requiring heavy weapons loads and as a fighter aircraft for night and all-weather missions. It is equipped with advanced radar and infrared systems, multi-function displays for both navigation and weapons firing, additional fuel tanks and a multitude of pylons and other external attachment points.
Using the aforementioned high-performance onboard radar AN / AGP 63, it can target targets up to 160 km away. It can then attack them with any of the many weapons systems at its disposal. The maximum weapons load can reach up to 11 tons, thanks to which it can carry a really wide arsenal, including laser-guided JDAM bombs and Paveway bombs. The F-15E passed its proverbial baptism of fire in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq with flying colors.
