Template information
The Messerschmitt P.1099 was a German World War II fighter and bomber project, powered by two Junkers Jumo 004 turbojet engines. Work on the project began in the summer of 1943 with the aim of creating an improved version of the Messerschmitt Me-262. Two versions of the aircraft were developed, the first (P.1099A) was intended to serve as a fighter, the second (P.1099B) as an attack aircraft and night fighter. However, neither version reached the testing stage, let alone mass production.
