Product Description
DC controller Traxxas XL 2.5 LVD for all Traxxas RC cars in scale 1:16 newly supported LiPo batteries. Power 4-8 cells NiMH or LiPo Article 2. The controller replaces the original item TRA3024.
The big advantage is their regulators Traxxas simple programming, which is for all controllers Traxxas exactly the same. Controllers can perform a calibration, set the drive mode and the latest versions set the battery type to NiMH or LiPo. The programming progress is shown by two-color LED and audible alarm (if connected motor).
Calibration regulator
It is about setting the neutral position and the extreme positions of the gas. Calibration can be carried out when replacing the transmitter or suspected improper behavior controller.
Mode of drive
- Sport mode: Full front and rear, brake
- Race mode: Full power forward and brake, reverse gear is not available to meet the rules of certain races.
- Training mode: 50% power controller forward, backward 50% power, 100% braking. This mode is suitable for a first acquaintance with the driving characteristics of the model or for children. Model is about one-third of its maximum speed.
Battery type (available only with controllers LVD)
- NiMH batteries: power controller is limited only by the performance, which is able to supply battery. This mode is not recommended to use a LiPo battery, because there would be too much podvybitím to their destruction.
- LiPo Battery: Li-Po batteries are modern power supply has high specific capacity by weight. For LiPo batteries must be taken to avoid the voltage drops below 3.0V per cell. Controller when the voltage drops to about 3.3V/cell reduce power control to 50%. Dips to 3.0 V / cell is completely disconnect the motor.
