The RC car model Stampede 2WD VX3 is a typical monster truck with high ground clearance and large wheels. It is suitable for driving even in rough terrain, jumping, and overcoming obstacles! The new Stampede is not only improved, but also has a new chassis for even higher levels of performance, durability, and user comfort. Thanks to the new brushless drive powered by 2-3S LiPo, the model can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. This speed is achieved even with the factory pinion, which is about a 25% increase compared to the previous drive. The drive components have improved cooling, and the controller includes integrated telemetry support. The excellent handling is assisted by the electronic TSM ride stabilization. With 2WD drive to the rear wheels, the model is lighter and has a simpler construction. For high durability, the model comes factory-equipped with Extreme Heavy Duty components.
The model has a carefully tuned chassis with independent suspension, allowing it to effortlessly tackle demanding terrain. The motor with gearbox and rear differential are positioned behind the rear axle for maximum traction. The new GTR composite shocks improve handling. Durable bumpers protect the model during collisions. Easy access to the model, including the battery, without a clipped body with clips.
For children and beginners, it is advisable to first operate the model with a 2S LiPo battery, which reduces the maximum speed to 56 km/h. The controller offers three driving modes, including a Training mode, in which the power is limited to 50%. This makes the Stampede a versatile model that you can initially use with lower power and gradually increase it as your driving skills improve. Control is provided by a new TQi Sport 2.4 GHz RC set.

New VX3 Drive
The new VX3 brushless drive can transform the energy of a 3S LiPo battery into extreme acceleration and high speed. The VX3 speed controller features modern electronics, active cooling with a fan, easy one-button setup, and telemetry support. The powerful Velineon V3200 motor represents the ideal combination of high speed, power, and efficiency. The integrated cooling effectively maintains low motor temperatures even during demanding rides.
New GTR Shocks
The new GTR composite shocks absorb impacts and ensure maximum contact of the tires with the surface. They hold over 70% more oil than standard Ultra Shocks and are sealed with X-rings, with spring preload adjustable via a nut on the shock body.
Durable Servo
The Stampede is equipped with a new powerful servo with metal gears. Together with the redesigned Bellcrank steering system with an integrated servo saver, it provides high durability, precise steering response, and long lifespan.
Clipless Body
The unique body mounting system using clips in the wheel wells allows for quick and easy battery changes, and the clean look of the model is not disrupted by clips. Sturdy latches firmly hold the body regardless of how rough the ride is. The body has an aerodynamic shape that increases downforce for stability even at high speeds.
Low Center of Gravity Chassis
The low center of gravity chassis places the battery and electronics as low as possible, increasing stability and speed when cornering.
Extreme Heavy Duty Components
The factory-installed kit upgrades exposed parts of the model for higher durability. Individual parts are made from the most durable materials used by Traxxas. Whether you traverse challenging terrain or jump ramps, the kit is designed to last.
2WD Drive System
Magnum 272 Transmission
Rear drive is implemented via the proven Magnum 272 transmission, which is housed along with the motor behind the rear axle, ensuring maximum loading of the rear wheels and high traction. The transmission includes a slipper clutch and planetary differential.
Slipper Clutch
The Revo Spec Torque Control slipper clutch ensures smooth power transmission and is adjustable. Properly set slip protects the drivetrain while not reducing the model's acceleration.
Rear Differential
The composite planetary differential is equipped with a steel gear ring and hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during demanding rides. This type of differential requires no maintenance and its efficient design reliably distributes torque between the rear wheels.
Robust Gear Teeth
The pinion and spur gear utilize a robust 32DP gear module for reliable power transmission of the brushless motor. Compared to the standard gear module (48DP), it is 1.5× larger.
Drive Shafts
Drive shafts are reinforced in critical areas for higher motor performance. Output shafts lead to hex wheel adapters.
Ball Bearings
Large ball bearings are used throughout the drivetrain for smooth operation. The bearings are fitted with plastic covers to prevent dirt from entering. This design extends the lifespan and simplifies maintenance of the model.
Electronics
Steering Servo
Steering of the model is provided by the Traxxas 2057 digital servo. The servo is equipped with two ball bearings on the hex shaft and metal gears for maximum durability. The servo design is waterproof*.
V3200 Brushless Motor
The model is powered by the powerful Velineon V3200 brushless motor. The new design motor features intake vents and an internal cooling fan on the shaft, which pushes air through the center of the motor, lowering the temperature and maintaining consistent performance. The metal casing also dissipates extra heat from the motor.

VX3 Electronic Speed Controller
Waterproof* electronic brushless speed controller VX3 features modern electronics powered by 2-3S LiPo (NiMH batteries not supported). It maintains simplicity with one-button programming (EZ-Set®) and three driving modes, including training mode – Training Mode. For a more natural feeling, braking is linear, with greater movement precision. The controller supports telemetry. A large aluminum heatsink dissipates heat. The electronics are waterproof*.
VX3 Speed Controller Modes
- Sport: Default mode, forward driving, braking, and reverse driving are possible.
- Race: Mode suitable for racing. Forward driving and brake are possible; reverse is not available.
- Training: Mode suitable for kids or novice drivers. Forward driving is possible with power limited to 50%, brake and reverse driving are again limited to 50% power.
TQi Sport Receiver
The Traxxas TQi Sport 2.4 GHz three-channel receiver ensures secure control without dropouts. Pairing is easy with one button. The status is indicated by an LED. The receiver integrates 3-axis MEMS sensors for sensing position and movement.
Traxxas TQi Sport Transmitter
The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional wheel transmitter Traxxas TQi Sport, operating in the 2.4 GHz range – operation without interference. The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA batteries.
On the transmitter, there is a rotary knob to trim the steering (to keep the model going straight when the wheel is in the center position). The battery status on the transmitter is indicated by an LED. Using one button, reverse channel settings, endpoints, TSM on/off, and model type can be adjusted. Additionally, it includes:

Traxxas Stability Management
The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) stabilization system allows you to experience not only performance, speed, acceleration, and cornering at extreme speeds but guarantees much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete, or even ice and snow.
The receiver includes MEMS 3-axis gyro and accelerometer, which evaluate the movement of the model approximately 100 times per second, and by making suitable interventions in the steering of the front wheels, corrects the direction of drive of the car model. Traxxas TSM does not limit motor power – you have 100% control over the motor's power. The algorithms are tuned separately for each model. TSM can be activated or deactivated via the TQi Sport transmitter.
