A unique 1.9" wheel weight system for crawlers and expedition RC car models (such as SCX10 III, TRX-4), which increases traction and reduces tipping. The weight inside the wheels is magnetically fixed low to the ground. The Pro-Line Rock-Tek system eliminates all the disadvantages of classic weights in models and delivers revolutionary performance.

Rock-Tek is the first magnetically mounted, bearing-mounted wheel weight system that keeps the weight at the lowest point of the wheel while the tire rotates around it. This keeps the weight virtually stationary relative to the chassis, significantly lowering the center of gravity and eliminating the negative effects of rotational weight. Instead of simply adding weight, Rock-Tek actively improves stability and traction, which you will appreciate every time you overcome obstacles or in a trials race.

Rock crawling has always been a battle against physics. The lower the center of gravity, the more stable your model is. But for years, the only solution was to add brass weights and make compromises. Classic wheel weights spin at full speed, adding rotational mass, straining the drivetrain, and impairing throttle response. Undercarriage weights are too high to have a significant effect, and axle weights add weight but don't move the center of gravity low enough.

The Pro-line Rock-Tek system is designed for standard 1.9" tires with an outer diameter of 4.75"–4.9" (120.6 - 124.5 mm) and easily integrates into the model without disrupting its appearance. It is compatible with most 1.9" beadlock wheels and fully supports Pro-Line wheels and tires. You can install the system on RC models with both straight and portal axles, such as the Axial SCX10 III or Traxxas TRX-4. The package includes weights for one axle. For the required efficiency, the system is primarily installed on the front axle.

Maximum lowering of the center of gravity

Rock-Tek places the weight at the lowest point inside the tire, achieving a significantly greater center of gravity reduction for every gram added compared to traditional chassis, axle or rotating wheel weights.

Reduced rotational mass

The bearing-mounted design keeps the weight virtually non-rotating relative to the chassis, minimizing rotational inertia and reducing drivetrain stress compared to fully rotating brass weights.

Magnetic fixation in the lower position

The magnetic weight holder keeps the weight stable at the lowest point of the wheel, significantly increasing the stability of the model. The kit includes mounting hardware for SCX10 III and TRX-4 front weights and can be easily adapted for many other platforms.

Rock-Tek can also be used without a magnet - the weight then rotates freely and stabilizes itself under the influence of gravity, while still offering better properties than classic solid brass weights.

Additional weights

The base weight of the weight is 208 g and can be expanded with two additional 54 g brass weights (PRO647902), allowing for precise tuning of performance for both racing and demanding trail use.

Hidden system without disturbing the mock-up appearance

Rock-Tek is fully integrated inside standard 1.9" beadlock wheels, maintaining a clean look for the axles and hubs without changing the wheel track or adding any visible brass elements.
