Safety features

Linton turbofans are equipped with an intelligent control system with multi-level protection, which ensures safe operation in all phases of flight and handling on the ground. Integrated sensors and advanced diagnostic algorithms continuously monitor the engine status to prevent damage or unplanned shutdown. • Automatic start sequence control: The control unit fully controls the ignition, glow and cranking process, minimizing the risk of incorrect starting.
• Overheating protection (EGT): The exhaust gas temperature sensor actively monitors the thermal load. In case of exceeding the limit values, the control unit automatically adjusts the power or safely shuts down the engine.
• Low Fuel Pressure Protection: The system detects a drop in fuel flow or pressure and responds by entering a safe mode.
• Overload/overspeed protection: The control unit continuously monitors the turbine speed and prevents it from exceeding safety limits.
