The detailed building instructions make assembly easy even for more advanced beginners. The day sailboat model developed by Uwe Kreckel with a retractable bow and double rudder was designed to offer sporty and balanced sailing characteristics.
Thanks to the thoughtful construction and detailed processing, a modern building kit with many possibilities and a realistic look has been created. The movable Captain Luc figure (sold separately) is the imaginary icing on the cake, adding liveliness and authenticity to the model.
The kit is designed as a complete set, which includes the entire sail with carbon (CFK) mast, boom, pre-cut sails and all necessary parts to assemble the rigging. Since the model does not have a self-tacking jib, at least two sail winches are required for RC operation, which independently control the jib and mainsail.
A high-quality GRP hull and laser-cut, engraved plywood parts form the core of the kit, making it relatively easy and quick to assemble. 3D printed fittings and the characteristic multi-colored ropes in the open deck give the model a very realistic look. The stylized dragon, which gave the model its name, is formed by self-adhesive foil.

The box with a photo of the finished model is carefully, tastefully and graphically designed and contains the name, technical data and scale of the model.
What's in the box
After opening the box lid, you will find a laminate fuselage, wooden parts of the plywood model in stretch film, small parts sealed in bags, sails, model parts and a picture manual.
Picture manual
The set includes a complete illustrated manual with pictures of the individual construction steps. In addition to the construction and assembly of the rigging, the manual also includes the procedure for installing the electronics.

Must be purchased
To get the model up and running you will need a complete RC kit, i.e. servo rudders, receiver, transmitter, batteries and sail winches. You will also need to purchase glue, paint, ballast (2kg weight) and an optional captain figure.
