ALPHA 1500 V2 comes in a new improved version and a new color "coat", now also in a set with the KAVAN V5 computer RC kit. Although at first glance the external shapes have remained the same, upon closer inspection you will find a number of changes contributing to simpler and more pleasant operation, such as the new KAVAN GO-09 Plus digital servos, ball joints on all control rods or a new wing clutch. The powerful brushless motor with a new generation 30A controller and a 3S LiPo battery provide enough power not only for normal flying with a motor glider, but also for aerobatic flying. The ALPHA 1500 V2 will "grow" along with you and your piloting skills; in addition, you can use the KAVAN V5 computer RC kit for many other and much more advanced models that you will purchase in the future!

ALPHA 1500V2 is an elegant motor glider with a large wing area with controllable ailerons, rudder and elevator, powered by a powerful brushless motor. The robust - yet very light - construction made of EPO foam guarantees excellent resistance to damage in a crash or at least very easy repairability if any damage occurs. The motor is powered by a lightweight LiPo battery with a large capacity and you get a 24-channel computer RC kit to control the model. We simply made sure that you have the road to success wide open, and your first steps are not complicated by worries of a "material nature".

The fuselage with the mounted C2217-1200 engine, KAVAN R-30B Plus controller (with extended programming options) and rudder and elevator servos is molded from foam EPO. The cabin cover is removable with a magnetic closure. The two-piece wing with carbon spars is also molded from EPO, the ailerons are controlled by 2 servos mounted in the wing with short straight wire rods. The wing halves are connected by an aluminum alloy connector, secured by inserting a plastic connecting plate and fastened to the fuselage with a pair of screws. The tail surfaces in the classic arrangement are molded from EPO, are controlled by wire cables. They are fastened to the fuselage with a pair of screws. The 8.5x6" folding propeller (the diameter is determined by the larger diameter cone with a longer beam) uses standard 8x6" blades. Cooling of the engine, controller and battery is aided by additional cooling air inlets on the sides of the nose, the necessary outlet for heated air is at the bottom of the fuselage in the space under the wing.

Preparation for flight only involves screwing on the tail surfaces, connecting the wing halves and securing them to the fuselage, installing the receiver and connecting the propulsion battery. The ailerons, rudder, elevator and engine speed are controlled.

To control the model, the kit includes a 24-channel KAVAN V5 RC kit, which you can use in the most basic setting with ailerons controlled by one channel - but it also allows independent control of both aileron servos for easy adjustment of their deflection differentiation and possibly mixing as aerodynamic brakes. You can further enhance the control of the model by programming double or exponential deflections.

To power the ALPHA 1500 V2 model, the kit includes an 11.1 V LiPo battery with a capacity of 1200 mAh and a KAVAN C3 charger for charging it.

ALPHA 1500 V2 is intended for beginners - as we always deliver - under the supervision of an experienced pilot, as well as for anyone who just wants to have a nice recreational flight. The flight characteristics are pleasant, unobtrusive and the control of the model is precise. The model will introduce you to full-fledged control of the model around all three axes; with correct coordinated control of the rudder, ailerons and elevator. You will "find" this experience at the latest right after you start flying your first aerobatic model or (semi)scale model of any kind. The design of the control rods and the supplied KAVAN V5 computer transmitter allow you to set the deflection sizes in a wide range. The beginner will start with small ones, safe even with excessive "steering"; An experienced pilot will set the large ones, allowing even a little bit of basic aerobatics with and without the engine – thanks to the more powerful engine, the Alpha 1500 V2 does somersaults, barrel rolls, and headland turns very easily and well! The engine power is sufficient for a brisk climb, so you will only need a moment to hunt for thermals! The Alpha 1500 V2 reacts sensitively even to weak thermals, and thanks to precise steering around all axes, it easily settles into a small diameter climbing chimney.
