Kavan - Alpha 1500V2 ARF (Green) - KAV02.8075V2
A practically finished model of a motor glider made of almost indestructible extruded polyolefin foam (EPO) powered by a brushless motor. Controlled rudder, elevator, ailerons and engine speed. The model is supplied equipped with a brushless motor, speed controller and 4 servos.
Although it retains the features of the original Alpha 1500 externally, the ALPHA 1500 V2 is a completely new model with different dimensions, a new wing profile and a much more sophisticated construction. New molds and advances in foam molding technology ensure that all parts are much finer and more precise. The two-piece wing is now bolted to the fuselage in the same way as the tail surfaces, making the model very compact.
A class more powerful motor with a 30A controller and a 3S LiPo battery instead of the original two-cell provide enough power not only for regular flying with a motor glider, but also for aerobatic flying. The ALPHA 1500 V2 will "grow" with you and your piloting skills; it will offer an experienced pilot the opportunity to really show off!
ALPHA 1500V2 is an elegant motor glider with a large wing area with controllable ailerons, rudder and elevator powered by a powerful brushless motor. The robust and lightweight EPO foam construction guarantees excellent resistance to damage. The motor is powered by a lightweight LiPo battery with a large capacity and you can use any 4-channel RC kit to control the model. We have simply made sure that you have the road to success wide open.
The fuselage with the mounted C2217-1200 engine, KAVAN R-30B controller and rudder and elevator servos is molded from foam EPO. The cabin cover is removable with a magnetic closure. The two-piece wing is also molded from EPO, the ailerons are controlled by 2 servos mounted in the wing with short straight wire rods. The wing halves are connected by a 4mm steel wire connector and secured by a plastic connecting plate.
The tail surfaces in the classic arrangement are controlled by wire cables. They are attached to the fuselage by a pair of screws. The 8.5×6" folding propeller (the diameter is given by the cone of a larger diameter with a longer beam) uses standard 8×6" blades. Cooling of the engine, controller and battery is assisted by cooling air inlets on the sides of the nose. The opening for heated air is on the bottom of the fuselage in the space under the wing.
Preparing for flight only includes screwing on the tail surfaces, connecting the wing halves and attaching them to the fuselage, installing the receiver and connecting the propulsion battery. To control the model, you will need at least a 4-channel RC kit. It is ideal to use at least a 5-channel computer RC kit, which will allow independent control of both aileron servos for easy adjustment of their deflection differentiation, or mixing as aerodynamic brakes. You can further make controlling the model more enjoyable by programming double or exponential deflections. To power the ALPHA 1500 V2 model, you will need an 11.1 V LiPo battery with a capacity of 1000–1300 mAh and a load capacity of at least 20C.
ALPHA 1500 V2 is intended for beginners, preferably under the supervision of an experienced pilot. The flight characteristics are pleasant, easy to fly and the model control is precise. The model will introduce you to full-fledged aircraft control around all 3 axes and to the correct coordinated control of the rudder, ailerons and elevator.
By changing the ratio of the lever lengths on the servos and rudders, you can adjust the deflection sizes in a wide range. Thanks to the more powerful engine, somersaults, barrel rolls, and headlands are easy. The engine power is sufficient for a brisk climb, so you will only need a moment to hunt thermals! Alpha 1500 V2 reacts sensitively even to weak thermals, and thanks to precise steering it easily settles even into a small diameter climbing chimney.

The package includes a fuselage molded from EPO material with a mounted brushless motor, a folding 8.5×6" propeller, a KAVAN 30A speed controller and 2 KAVAN GO-09 servos, a wing molded from EPO with 2 KAVAN GO-09 servos and LED lights installed, EPO tail surfaces, a steel wing coupler and detailed instructions for building and flying.

To operate the model, you will need at least a 4-channel RC kit (transmitter and receiver), a 3S LiPo battery with a capacity of 1000–1300 mAh and a current load of at least 30C, equipped with an XT60 power connector, and a suitable charger.
