Even though the Black Pearl no longer sails the waves of the Caribbean, with our new little Caribbean you can dominate any larger pool or smaller pond the way only Captain Jack Sparrow could!

Caribbean is a small semi-scale sailboat model in 1:46 scale, compliant with the rules for the Footy competition class; the ideal companion for a holiday by the water or for a lazy weekend afternoon by the pool in the garden. All you need is four alkaline batteries for the transmitter + 3x AAA receiver battery - and you're ready to go. Caribbean is delivered as a completely ready-made RC set - a completely assembled sailboat with installed electronics and a two-channel proportional lever 2.4 GHz transmitter in Mode 2.

The hull of the ship is plastic, easy access to the waterproof receiver and servos controlling the rudder and sails is ensured by a hatch secured with a single screw. The mast is made of carbon tube, the spars are plastic, the sails are made of strong synthetic fabric with the tips reinforced with glued plastic foil to protect against tearing. The fixed rigging is made of thin steel strings, giving the model surprisingly high rigidity and durability. The keel is cast from metal together with hydrodynamically shaped ballast, the rudder fin is plastic.

The onboard electronics are powered by three removable AAA batteries. A single charge typically takes about 15 minutes, and with a freshly charged battery, the Caribbean can cruise the waters of your pool for about half an hour. The transmitter is equipped with digital trims on both channels, allowing for precise settings and comfortable control of the model. Learning to sail will be made easier by the detailed instructions with a picture guide explaining the boat's maneuvering when sailing with and against the wind. Words like jib, jib, tack, crossing... will no longer be a mystery to you! A plastic stand is included with the boat, which allows you to turn the Caribbean into an elegant home accessory during the off-season.
