AC electric motor with rotating casing for RC aircraft models with a flight weight of up to 5000 g. Revolutions per volt: 250 rpm, power supply: Lixx 12S, shaft diameter: 6.0 mm, weight: 363 g. Alternative designation according to the external dimensions of the motor: 5055-250kV.

The Platinum 4125 series motors are high-performance brushless (AC) 14-pole outrunner electric motors with excellent electrical characteristics, sophisticated construction and superior manufacturing.

Hardened steel shafts and high-quality bearings ensure a long service life, quality materials used to make the stator and rotor also guarantee excellent performance parameters with high efficiency. They are low-speed, high-torque engines that handle large-diameter propellers and climbs without the need for a gearbox.

Engine designation system (xxYY SL-zzzz):

• xx – stator diameter in mm,
• YY – stator length in mm,
• SL – sensorless (SensorLess) engine,
• zzzz – number of revolutions per volt per minute (kV).

Engine assembly

The engine is designed for both front and rear mounting. For front mounting behind the engine face, use four M4 screws that extend into the engine face by a maximum of 5 mm. The holes for the fixing screws in the front of the motor are spaced regularly by 90° on circles with a diameter of 30 mm. The engine bulkhead should be 6-8mm aircraft grade plywood. The rear mounting kit (mounting cross, rear mounting propeller carrier) is supplied with the engine.
