Product Description
HPI - 1:18 Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco 4400 4WD RTR (VGJR) - HPI160804
Fully assembled RC model of an expeditionary special vehicle in 1:18 scale with two-speed gearbox and DC drive. The model is supplied including a drive battery, transmitter and USB charger.
The HPI Racing Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco 4400 is built on the proven Venture18 chassis, offering full-scale capability in a compact platform that goes anywhere. Whether you're tackling technical trails or racing over rough terrain, the Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco is your ticket to non-stop fun and discovery.
Like its predecessor, the Venture18 U4, it features a robust C-section steel frame and a sophisticated drive system. It is equipped with a precision-engineered all-metal two-speed transmission, locked differentials, four-link suspension front and rear, and universal telescopic counter-rotating drive shafts. V2 oil shock absorbers provide optimal suspension.
Officially licensed clipless bodywork features aggressive RTR Vehicles Off-Road styling, a tubular roll cage and interior. The bodywork is equipped with a functional LED light bar that is controlled directly from the transmitter
With a built-in lighting controller, the Venture18 U4 offers multiple lighting modes right out of the box. Easily switch between Day Mode, Dusk Mode, and Night Mode to achieve the perfect lighting level whether you're navigating terrain in daylight or racing through the dark.
The Venture18 is equipped with a robust and reliable four-link suspension system front and rear. 4mm composite rods with integrated ball joints form the lower and upper suspension arms front and rear.
The chassis layout was redesigned to accommodate the narrower body of the Ford Bronco 4400. As a result, the side panels and skid plates were removed. The rear chassis brace was redesigned to accommodate the radio components and the propulsion battery.
The Venture18 features counter-rotating telescopic center driveshafts with universal joints at both ends for smooth power transfer to the front and rear axles. This virtually eliminates chassis twist when the vehicle climbs challenging grades.
The Venture18 features an all-metal, servo-controlled two-speed gearbox. With the push of a switch on the transmitter, you can easily switch between slow and fast gears, giving you the flexibility to easily tackle any terrain.
The crawler gear boasts an impressive 81.44:1 gear ratio, providing exceptional slow-moving capability for narrow, technical trails and obstacles. And when you need a burst of speed on a flat, open stretch, just switch to the fast gear on the transmitter for a 20.36:1 gear ratio.
For the perfect ride, the Venture18 U4 is equipped with oil-filled, threaded aluminum shocks. With a new lower aluminum cap and soft springs that easily handle the subtle bumps and dips you encounter while riding.
You can tune your model's suspension using different shock absorber oils or aluminum rings for adjusting spring preload.
