Product Description
Hacker HC1910A - Albatros L-39 SkyFox - Blue
The Albatros L-39 SkyFox is a new EPP model inspired by the latest generation of the Czech trainer and light combat aircraft Aero L-39 SkyFox. Its lightweight and durable construction made from 9.5mm EPP, the untraditionally protected propeller in the middle of the fuselage, swift flying performance, and high maneuverability make this model a fun choice for outdoor and indoor flying.
The Albatros L-39 SkyFox is designed in a proven "shock" concept with a cross fuselage. The model is made from 9.5mm thick sheet EPP and uses only a small amount of carbon and wooden reinforcements. This results in simple construction, low weight, good durability, and very enjoyable flying characteristics.
The model features a modern silhouette of a jet aircraft, a durable EPP construction, and an untraditionally placed propeller in the middle of the fuselage. This propeller placement protects it well from damage while giving the model a unique character. The Albatros offers decent speed, high agility, instant reactions to controls, and flying performance that significantly differs from conventional models with a classic layout.
The concept with the propeller placed in the middle of the wing takes a little getting used to during the first flights. However, the reward is the original flight capabilities that conventional models with a front propeller find difficult to achieve.
The model is controlled using only three servos. The ailerons are normally controlled by a single servo placed behind the wing. This solution reduces the model's weight, limits the amount of wiring, and contributes to the simplicity of the entire construction. If the pilot prefers separate control of the ailerons, for example for using ailerons as flaps, a second aileron servo can be easily added.
The Albatros L-39 SkyFox is offered in two attractive color schemes. The variant with catalog number HC1910A Blue features striking sports graphics, while the variant with catalog number HC1910B CZ-Grey is based on the camouflage of the actual L-39 SkyFox aircraft. All EPP parts are covered with double-sided full-color printing and precisely cut using CNC machinery.
