Green Stuff World's Pure Metal Pigments contain metal particles for the highest possible level of realism. These pigments are ideal for imitating the metallic appearance of your model's surface.

Method of use

Pigments are applied mixed with a small amount of a suitable medium, most often it is varnish, paint or fixing solution, the most suitable medium being Master Medium . However, excessive amounts of added media can weaken the metallic effect. An adequate amount of medium then allows the pigments to be applied by spraying.

Pure Metal Pigments can be mixed with different types of paints of different shades. Pigments can be used in conjunction with acrylic and synthetic paints or epoxy resins. You can also use preparations that accelerate oxidation, which you can use, for example, when imitating heavily oxidized surfaces.

The ideal base layer for the application of these pigments is a matte surface that ensures sufficient adhesion. After application and complete drying of the applied layer, the pigments can be polished. If you decide to cover the layer containing the pigments with a clear varnish, their stability is ensured, so that there is no later oxidation.

• Due to the high degree of compaction of the pigments, it may appear that the bottle contains less than the indicated amount of material.
• Although these pigments are non-toxic, it is important to avoid inhaling dust particles.
