Green Stuff World - Phenolic Carving Foam 4mm, A5 format (2 pcs) - GSW8435646506012ES
Rigid phenolic foam with a density of 160 kg/m 3 is intended for 3D design, sculpting and model making. This low memory foam can be easily cut with a knife or saw and textured by simply pressing any object into the surface of the foam. Ideal for building walls, walls, sidewalks, etc.
The advantage of this material is its high chemical resistance, it can be glued with PVA glue, Tuft glue, a hot melt gun or cyanoacrylate (secondary) glues. The foam can be colored with both acrylic and synthetic paints containing solvents.
Small pores in this foam can be smoothed with a layer of diluted PVA glue or simply by applying any primer.
Notice:
- The material cannot be cut with a hot wire or similar devices, as the foam can withstand temperatures of up to 150 ºC.
- After cutting any phenolic foam, it is important to clean all metal tools to prevent corrosion.
- Due to the complexity of the phenolic foam production process, the specified material thickness may vary by 0-1 mm.
