Small RC model of the Viper aircraft with a wingspan of 0.53 m and a 30mm electric fan. This is a model with excellent controllability and high performance. It includes SAFE Select and AS3X stabilization systems, Spektrum Smart telemetry support.
The lightweight airframe is reinforced with composite and finished in the iconic Aircraft Studio Design livery. For final assembly, simply attach the wing and secure it with the twist lock mechanism. LED lights on the wings add to the fighter's authenticity and help to correctly determine the model's position in the air.
Smart Spektrum electronics in the model offer a number of advantages. With a compatible transmitter (sold separately), you will have a range of telemetry data available (battery voltage, temperature, engine speed and more). The AS3X and SAFE electronic stabilization systems are also installed.
With the fixed landing gear you can take off and land on smooth surfaces, the nose wheel is steered for better taxiing. Or you can remove the landing gear and launch by hand, with the automatic Hand Launch Assist mode helping you. You can then land on your belly in the grass.

Control unit
The Viper EDF 0.53m model is equipped with a control unit that includes a Spektrum controller with receiver, which provides real-time telemetry data and additional telemetry with compatible Spektrum AirWare-equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to NX20, iX12 to iX20 and more).
AS3X stabilization
The receiver is equipped with AS3X technology, which helps stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a three-axis MEMS gyro and an accelerometer. Thanks to electronic stabilization, controlling the model is simplified, for example in windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is calm, without maintaining its full controllability. AS3X brings more confidence in control.
SAFE Select technology for beginners
Thanks to the SAFE Select technology, even a less experienced pilot can control the model. The SAFE system prevents over-banking in turns and also limits climb and descent. Simply releasing the controller sticks returns the model to level flight. These functions will be appreciated especially by novice pilots who have not yet fully mastered the necessary habits.
As the name SAFE Select suggests, it is an optional feature – it is up to you whether you want to use SAFE technology or disable it. The pairing method determines whether the SAFE function should be turned on or off. It is also possible to turn the SAFE function on or off during flight using a free transmitter channel. Advantages of the SAFE Select feature:
- It limits the maximum bank of the model, thus preventing the model from going into a spin.
- Automatically puts the model into horizontal flight when you release the transmitter control sticks.
- Using a free channel, the SAFE system can be turned on or off even during flight.
- Simplifies takeoff and landing.

The package contains painted parts of the E-flite Viper EDF 0.53m model with installed components: Spektrum 1010-8300kV brushless motor, Spektrum Viper EDF 0.53m control unit, 4× Spektrum A201 long-stroke linear servos. The package also includes instructions in CZ and manuals in EN, DE, FR, IT.
Must be purchased
To put the model into operation, you need to add at least a 5-channel Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 transmitter, a 4S LiPo battery with a capacity of 450 mAh equipped with an IC2 power connector, and a compatible charger.
