Small micro RC model P-47 Thunderbolt 0.625 m, which is fully equipped with features of larger models. In addition to full 4-channel control, it also includes functional flaps, retractable main landing gear, and LED lighting. This is the first micro model from E-flite with such an extensive feature set, designed for intermediate pilots. With a wealth of details, it represents a semi-scale model of the real WWII fighter aircraft P-47, used by the US Army Air Corps as a fighter escort. The brushless power system with the option to power with a 3S LiPo provides sufficient power for vertical climbs. The electronics include Spektrum with telemetry, quick setup (STF), and electronic stabilization.
The smart Spektrum electronics in the model offer a range of advantages that you won't find elsewhere. With a compatible transmitter (sold separately), you have access to a variety of telemetry data – battery voltage, current draw, temperature, and other real-time data. This BNF version includes a Spektrum receiver with an electronic stabilization system AS3X+ and SAFE. AS3X+ smooths out the effects of wind and turbulence for a calmer flight, and the SAFE system can assist with control.
The airframe is made from lightweight and strong EPO material. The surface features details, such as panel lines. Furthermore, the model includes mock guns, a 4-blade propeller, and a clear canopy with a pilot figure. The factory finishes the color scheme and applies decals. Assembly is very easy; simply attach the one-piece wing to the fuselage and secure it with one screw. Thanks to the hands-free system, there’s no need to connect any connectors, as they automatically and safely engage when the wing is fitted. Through the large top hatch, it's easy to connect a 3S LiPo 600–850 mAh battery with an IC2 connector (sold separately). The control surfaces are operated by six linear servos. The retractable landing gear gives you great variability during takeoff and landing, providing an authentic scale flight.
Skill Level 3 – Intermediate
Skill level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots who already have experience and skills with models of a similar category. Although this is one of the most controllable micro models of the P-47, it is not suitable for beginner pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly UMX and warbird models, like the E-flite P-51D Mustang 1.0 m, T-28 Trojan 1.1 m, and larger models.
Bind-N-Fly Version
Do you already own a Spektrum™ RC transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft are ready to fly. The motor with ESC, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver are installed. Therefore, you only need to pair the receiver in the model with your compatible transmitter, complete the final assembly, and fly (transmitter, battery, and charger sold separately).

Upload Settings from Receiver to Transmitter (Smart Transmitter File)
Setting up the model in the transmitter has never been easier. The BNF version model has a receiver installed which stores a file with all settings for the transmitter. When pairing, simply confirm that you want to download the settings file to your transmitter, and it’s all done!
AS3X+™ Stabilization
The Spektrum receiver is equipped with AS3X+ technology, which helps stabilize the model during flight. The receiver contains a 3-axis MEMS gyro and accelerometer, and thanks to electronic stabilization, it automatically makes rapid control corrections of the model for example, in turbulence or windy conditions. The model behaves similarly to a much larger model and its flight is smooth, while maintaining full controllability. AS3X+ provides a safer flight.
The AS3X+ stabilization algorithm produces better flight behavior, improves sensor accuracy, data rate, and provides pilots with a generationally different feel compared to AS3X. New AS3X+ parameters and new setup opportunities in Forward Programming. It features a significantly improved algorithm that has been thoroughly tested by experts.
SAFE Select™ Technology for Beginners
Thanks to the SAFE Select technology, the model can be controlled by a less experienced pilot. The SAFE system ensures both electronic flight stability and roll limits, preventing excessive tilt in turns and also limiting climb and descent. By simply releasing the control sticks on the transmitter, the model returns to level flight. These features are especially appreciated by pilots who are not yet fully confident in controlling models.
This is an optional feature – it’s up to you whether you want to use SAFE technology. The pairing method sets whether the SAFE function should be turned on or off. Furthermore, the SAFE function can also be turned off or on in flight using a switch on a free channel of the transmitter.

- Limits maximum rolls of the model, thereby preventing the model from entering a spin
- Automatically returns the model to level flight when releasing the transmitter's control sticks to center positions

The model is equipped with a brushless outrunner motor and a 15 A ESC, powered by a 3S LiPo 600–850 mAh battery. Combined with the 4-blade propeller, you achieve excellent speed, vertical performance, or flight time.
Rich Functional Features
This is the first combat UMX (ultramicromodel) that includes functioning retractable landing gear, flaps, and LED navigation lights. The flaps allow slower flying and shorten the required space for takeoff and landing. The retractable landing gear with a steerable tail wheel facilitates taxiing, takeoff, and landing on smooth surfaces, or you can leave the gear retracted for hand launch and belly land in grass.
Durable Construction
The aircraft's airframe is made from durable EPO material and supplemented with a range of scale details and composite elements. This makes the model sturdy yet lightweight, offering an attractive scale appearance and great flying characteristics.
Easy Assembly
The Micro P-47 comes almost fully assembled from the factory, including the installed power system, servos, and receiver. The wing is attached with a single cross-head screw. The wing can be quickly and easily removed for easier storage and transport.
