Axial is expanding its SCX24 micro crawler line with another great new addition. This model is based on the legendary off-road vehicle that has been trusted by drivers around the world for decades. Now RC fans, beginners and experienced enthusiasts can hit the road with the new SCX24 Toyota 4Runner. Drivers will especially appreciate the handling, performance and detailed realistic processing.
The model is equipped with steel C-beam chassis, multi-link suspension with steel rods, straight solid axles and oil shock absorbers for driving. Permanent all-wheel drive is provided by a DC motor via a gearbox, center shafts and worm gears in the transfer cases.
The licensed Toyota body made of durable ABS material is complemented by a number of details such as exterior mirrors, door handles and, last but not least, front LED lighting for amazing evening drives. The Toyo Open Country R/T off-road tires are also licensed.

Officially licensed bodywork
The model is equipped with an officially licensed Toyota 4Runner mock-up body, which faithfully reproduces the details with which it is richly equipped. The model has a mock-up processed front grille, exterior mirrors, door handles, light parabolas and more. The durable ABS body is available in several color options.
Oil-filled shock absorbers
Oil-filled shock absorbers provide a smooth ride over rough terrain. Spring preload can be adjusted to fine-tune the amount of suspension to suit the terrain.
Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz Transmitter
The Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz 2-channel steering wheel transmitter offers a number of useful features such as throttle path and steering or throttle limit settings. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long, fatigue-free driving and has a foam steering wheel for precise control.
Steel C-frame side members
Like the larger 1:10 SCX10 II chassis platform, the SCX24 chassis features robust C-section steel frame members for high chassis rigidity and strength. The chassis maintains sufficient rigidity even with high axle torsion.
Dynamite engine
The Tazer 180 88T engine is specially designed for 1:24 scale RC car models, where, together with an optimally adjusted gearbox, it provides the axles with the necessary torque for steep climbs.
Worm gears
The front and rear differentials are equipped with worm gears to ensure maximum power transmission to the axles while ensuring constant braking when the car stops. The small dimensions allow for greater ground clearance.
Front and rear solid axle
The front and rear straight axles are constructed from a two-piece plastic molding that houses steel driveshafts in ball bearings. For optimal handling, the SCX24's suspension features 3-point front and 4-point rear suspension.
Solid steel shafts
The high torque of the worm gear requires the use of steel drive shafts. Only these can transmit power to the wheels even on difficult climbs.
Splined drive shafts
The front and rear drive shafts from the central gearbox to the differentials are 2-piece and splined, allowing maximum axial displacement of the shafts while maintaining the transmitted power.
Equipped with ball bearings
Even though it is a small model, it is equipped with ball bearings just like big cars. No plain bearings, only ball bearings. If you drive in a wet or dusty environment, don't forget to clean and lubricate them!
LED lighting
For maximum realism, there are high-brightness LEDs in the headlight parabolas and in the front bumper.
Licensed wheels and tires
For a complete look, the bodywork is complemented by Pro-Line Mini Impulse Black Bead-Loc wheels with officially licensed Toyo Open Country R/T tires, which offer a fantastic combination of off-road performance and quiet handling on hard surfaces.
Tilting body
The flip-up body system provides easy access to the battery and control unit. The clip-free hinge system allows you to quickly change the battery.

The package also includes a Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter, a 2S LiPo battery with a capacity of 350 mAh PH2.0, a Spektrum 500mAh USB-C charger, 4 AA cells (cell batteries) to power the transmitter, instructions in Czech and a manual in EN, DE, FR, IT.
Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of the RC car, you need tire glue, silicone oil for shock absorbers, and a set of Allen screwdrivers.
Tire glue is used to glue the bead of the tire to the rim. It is always necessary to glue the tire firmly around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition, so it is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and the glued joint remains flexible even after hardening. Do not use ordinary superglue - it is not flexible after hardening, and cracks will gradually form around the rim on the tire.
Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into metal materials (e.g. screws in a motor, worm gear in a pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
