The Arrma Mini Kraton 3S RC model is designed as a pure Basher, a model mainly for maximum fun while driving freely in any environment. It is perfectly prepared for this ride - it has a durable chassis, 4x4 drive, independent suspension, 3 differentials and a brushless motor with amazing power. You can ride it on lower grass in the park, enjoy a wild ride in the field with flying gravel, or even jump on jumps. Thanks to Powerguard technology, the model allows versatile use for beginners and experienced riders, from slower, but longer rides (30 km/h, 30 min) to incredible speeds of over 80 km/h. With the Mini platform, with smaller compact dimensions, you can also easily take the model with you in a backpack and ride it in various places. Everything you need is in the package, including a 3S LiPo battery and a USB-C charger.
PowerGuard technology allows driving in the entire speed range according to the driver's experience and extends the driving time. You no longer need a weaker 2S LiPo battery for a quieter ride and a more powerful 3S LiPo battery for full power. With PowerGuard, you only need the included 3S LiPo battery and in the basic "adrenaline" mode you have a speed of up to 48 km/h with a driving time of up to 20 minutes. If this is too much, for example for children, you can still reduce the throttle limit on the transmitter to 75%, or 50% for a speed of 30 km/h and 30 minutes of operation. On the other hand, if you have already trained your driving skills sufficiently, activate the "Chaos" mode by inserting the included PowerKey into the controller and unlock full power and speed of up to 80 km/h. (The PowerKey serves as a fuse and at the same time, by inserting it, you can easily activate the Chaos mode.)
The Mini Kraton 3S RC car model has a special DSC electronic stability control function included in the control unit, which automatically makes steering corrections for smooth driving in skids, easier steering at higher speeds and on less grippy surfaces. DSC stabilization has 4 modes, depending on the level of assistance, including the option to turn it off.
The entire structure is subordinated to performance and durability - the differential gears are metal, as are the axle shafts, the oil shock absorbers contain aluminum bodies, ball bearings are used throughout the drivetrain, the chassis has an aluminum color-anodized reinforcement and robust bumper protection in the event of an impact. High-quality Spektrum electronics are installed - a brushless motor, control unit and servo with metal gears. In addition to excellent driving characteristics, the model will also amaze you with its designer bodywork containing clip-free mounting for easy assembly and disassembly when replacing the battery.
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)
An exclusive feature is the dynamic ride stabilization included in the Spektrum control unit. It uses integrated sensors to make steering corrections for easier control. The stabilization intensity can be conveniently changed using the transmitter in four modes.
- High - maximum stability, ideal for beginners
- Medium - ideal for low-grip surfaces (gravel)
- Low - ideal for hard grip surfaces (asphalt)
- Off - for experienced drivers
Chassis
The chassis of the model is made of a durable composite molding with high sidewalls that provide protection against dirt. For high durability and a great appearance, the chassis is reinforced in the center along the entire length with a profiled aluminum sheet with colored anodizing corresponding to the body color.
3 differentials
The power from the AC motor is transmitted to the center differential filled with oil with a viscosity of 500k cSt and further to the axle differentials with oil of 20k cSt, this guarantees an optimal degree of slip and grip for excellent driving characteristics. Metal gears are used for a reliable power transmission. The power is then transmitted via metal axle shafts to all wheels.
Drivetrain
The drivetrain is enclosed to minimize dirt access for easier service and long life. Smooth power transmission is ensured by the use of ball bearings on all rotating parts. Excellent traction is provided by the massive dBoots COPPERHEAD 2 Mini tires.
Oil shock absorbers
For brutal riding over obstacles, jumps and large bumps, the model is equipped with high-quality shock absorbers with durable aluminum bodies and oil filling that prevents oscillation on bumps.
Battery mounting
Replacing the battery is very easy thanks to the partition that can be easily opened. The battery is deep in the chassis, well protected against impacts.
Kraton body
The iconic Kraton body style is carried over to this model, creating a popular monster truck look. Roof rails and an internal frame are installed to prevent rollover damage.
Stapleless bodywork
The body is easily, quickly and safely attached to the chassis. To remove it when removing the battery, simply press a button and slide the body out. This is a fastening system that can be easily mastered by all age groups.
Driving a car
For reliable steering, a Spektrum™ SX114 servo is installed with a 20T output toothed gear and metal gears that ensure high resistance even in the event of a crash.
Car powertrain
On the right side of the chassis is the drive unit, consisting of a Firma 2848 3000Kv motor and an integrated 40A controller with receiver. Both components are effectively cooled by a fan. The Spektrum unit allows extensive settings - such as driving mode, cut-off voltage, acceleration, brake intensity, timing and more (settings are made using a button and indicator LED) . In the case of using another RC kit, the unit can only be used as a controller.
Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter
The Spektrum SLT2 2-channel transmitter is the perfect size for all pilots. It can help you learn to fly your model safely by limiting your model's maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you are ready for full power. The transmitter includes additional switches - trim, yaw and reverse servo. The package includes 4 AA batteries for the transmitter.
SMART charging
The powerful Spektrum Smart 3S LiPo battery with IC2 connector has a capacity of 2000 mAh for long operating times. When it's time to recharge, just plug it into the convenient Spektrum Smart G2 S22 MINI USB-C charger. Safe charging starts and stops automatically, no settings required.
