1:50 Marie Jeanne

A wooden kit of a non-floating model of the French tuna fishing vessel Marie Jeanne in a scale of 1:50 from the renowned company Artesanía Latina.

Model construction

The construction of the model uses a fake keel and ribs, similar to a real ship. The hull is built using classic technology by planking the frame, in one layer.

Contents of the kit

The kit includes laser-cut plywood parts, birch wood slats for hull and deck planking, brass and cast metal accessories, thread, sewn cotton sails, flag, decals and parts for building a stand.

Construction instructions

The construction of the model is greatly facilitated by the accompanying picture instructions on DVD (also available for download), which accompany the construction of the ship step by step. The kit does not include printed instructions or plans.

Construction difficulty

By its nature, this kit is suitable for advanced modelers.

Note: The kit does not include glue, clear varnish, paint, putty or work tools and accessories that are necessary for the successful construction process.
