The Corgi The Aviation Archive series is a collection of detailed metal aircraft models, designed mainly for the discerning collector. Limited edition with numbered card.
Information about the template:
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber, developed in the 1930s by the US Army Air Corps (USAAC). Boeing won the competition to produce two hundred bombers, as its performance significantly exceeded that of its competitors, Douglas and Martin.
Although Boeing ultimately lost the contract due to a prototype crash, the Air Force was so impressed with the bomber's design that it ordered thirteen aircraft for further testing. Since its introduction into service in 1938, the B-17 Flying Fortress has been continuously improved, leading to the creation of many versions of the aircraft.
Model specifications:
- scale: 1:72,
- span: 435 mm,
- material: metal and plastic.
