The Martin B-26 Marauder was a medium twin-engine bomber of World War II, produced from 1941 to 1945 by Glenn L. Martin. The aircraft first saw service in the Pacific in 1942. It later saw combat in the Mediterranean and Western Europe. A total of 5,288 aircraft were produced between February 1941 and March 1945. 522 aircraft were delivered to the British Royal Air Force and the South African Air Force.
