About the Manufacturer

The British company Albion Alloys supplies metal materials for modelers. The core of the range is profiles, tubes, rods, and sheets made of brass, with some products made from other metals such as copper, aluminum, or pakfong.

Product Range

Particularly noteworthy are those products that the competition does not offer. In the Albion Alloys range, there are very interesting small tubes made of brass and pakfong (available from a diameter of 0.3 mm), phosphor bronze strips (suitable, for example, for electrical collectors in locomotive drives), and rods (or rather wires) of very small diameter made of pakfong (available from a diameter of 0.1 mm).

Wherever possible, the sizes of tubes or profiles are designed to be telescopically inserted into each other, with minimal clearance.

Packaging Method

All products are packaged in bags, and the number of profiles or sheets in a bag is chosen to fit into a few pricing categories. The advantage of bag packaging is that, unlike some competing products, stickers do not need to be removed from the profiles, rods, or sheets before work.

Very Suitable for Plastic Modelers

Although these are metal products, the range is very successful among plastic modelers who need thin wires and tubes for creating details. Some specialized products are even specifically targeted for certain uses related to plastic models.
