Celebrate half a century of legend! This exclusive kit pays homage to the very first RC model released by Tamiya in 1976 (Porsche 934, cat. no. 58001). However, this anniversary edition is not just an ordinary “re-issue” – it features a completely newly developed chassis and top-of-the-line racing components that will satisfy even the most demanding modelers and collectors.

Unique design and details

The model uses a special chassis with rear-wheel drive (2WD) and a longitudinally rear-mounted engine, which faithfully copies the concept of the real Porsche 911. The body in the iconic colors of the Vaillant team (Kremer Racing) is made of durable polycarbonate and, thanks to the included magnetic holders, can be attached to the chassis without the need to drill holes for the pillars - ideal for those who want to have the model displayed in a showcase.

The kit contains all the components needed to build the chassis, a clear Lexan body, a pressure wing, tires, two-piece metallized plastic wheel rims, model jewelry, and clear building instructions.

Must be purchased

To operate the model, you will need at least a two-channel RC kit (transmitter, receiver and servo), a 540 series DC motor, a speed controller, a 7.2 V NiMH six-cell battery and a suitable charger. We recommend using Tamiya sprays for Lexan bodies to finish the bodywork.
