The German army was no exception. They used wheels even before the First World War. In the 1930s, the rebuilding Wehrmacht also introduced bicycles. Military bicycles were thus used until the end of the war. The photos demonstrate the wide use of wheels, on which it was possible to load a machine gun or even two panzerfausts.
