Perfectly crafted RC kit of the American monster truck Clod Buster in 1:10 scale
This RC kit represents the Clod Buster model, inspired by American monster trucks, featuring huge tires and an elevated body on a specially designed chassis. The realistic body is made from durable styrene plastic and can be painted with plastic paints, while the front and rear bumpers, front grille, and hood compressor are chrome-plated. The solid axles with front and rear suspension using arms are equipped with 2 friction dampers on each wheel; this model for demanding conditions thus supports a total of 8 dampers. The enormous semi-pneumatic tires with a diameter of 165 mm and a width of 110 mm provide excellent off-road capabilities in conjunction with a ground clearance of 55 mm.
The 4-wheel steering (4WS) system ensures great maneuverability and a smaller turning radius for this large-scale RC model. The 4WD & 4WS chassis, bathtub-style frame with durable solid axle suspension using arms features a robust construction, where the arms are secured to the side arms and axle struts, and two friction dampers per wheel. The axle housings have integrated sealed gearboxes with motors for both front and rear axles. Power transfer occurs efficiently via gears, and the differentials ensure smooth cornering, allowing the large Clod Buster to move quickly. Additionally, the 4WS system controls the front and rear wheels in opposite directions – using a single steering servo – thus ensuring a smaller turning radius. The kit includes a double electronic speed controller for Tamiya TEU-201BK motors, allowing smooth control of this RC model with two motors.
